Childrens dreams come true...
To celebrate Karl May's 150th birthday in 1992, the first Karl May – Festival Days took place.
Since the beginning of this special event, several thousand visitors have come to Radebeul every year to visit the festival: children are able to wash "gold" in the river Loessnitzbach, go on the narrow-gauge railway "Loessnitzgrundbahn", which travels through this area and is occasionally held up by bad villains, and in the stone pit the Indians celebrate their ritual dances . . .
The Karl May – Festival Days are full of life, fun and surprises. They are an increasingly favourite meeting point for people from different nations and cultures.
