The Elbe River - lifeline of the region

The landscape of the river is as beautiful as the great castles and parks along the Elbe. You can enjoy the territory during a tour along the cycling path or a trip with the unique side-wheel steamship fleet. There you will be astonished by the fascinating rock formations of Saxon Switzerland and by the historic districts in the towns of Pirna and Dresden which invite you for a long break and some sightseeing.
