Day tour with the steamship

Discover the delightful Elbe landscape during a tour on the largest wheel steamboat fleet in the world. There are a generous variety of events on board all year round.

Dresden itself, with the Semper Opera and the Frauenkirche (Women's Church), makes an impressive starting point. The "normal" tours lead into Saxon Switzerland (Saxon Switzerland is the unique rocky landscape to the south-east of Dresden, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains) or into the wine land in the direction of Meissen.
You have the possibility to participate on a tour between the 28th of April and the 21st of October 2007. The steamboat starts daily at 9:45 a.m. on the Terassenufer Dresden and arrives in the small wine village of Seusslitz at 12:45 p.m. The current schedule and other information can be found right here: www.saechsische-dampfschiffahrt.de
