Rabenauer Ground – well-wooded valley
Near Dresden is the Rabenauer Ground, a well-wooded valley which is settled by rare plants.
The grounds are well-liked by hikers and are traversed by Germany’s oldest narrow-gauge railway which travels through the delightful countryside between Freital, near Dresden, and Kipsdorf.

This trail is about 40 kilometres and there are a lot of sights, p.e. the barrage "Malter" with the hydropower station, the zoo "Hoeckendorf", the hydropower station "Tharandt". Hereabout 10 stations to the theme energy.
