Valleys near the Elbe River – area of mills

This unique scenery is dominated by water which ensured the business of the numerous mills in the valleys.

Today, barely one mill produces in a traditional way. In the small mill-shop, guests can buy high-quality flour an other natural goods. The rest of the mills are modified into homelike taverns or hosted museums.

A very famous mining-gallery is situated in Miltitz. Guided tours through the mine are offered. Experience the subterranean sea and the creative rock formations!
